Privacy policy

This policy describes only the processing that can take place while browsing Criterio Taller. The site has no accounts, payments, subscriptions, newsletter or forms.

01

Controller

The data controller is the owner of Criterio Taller, who operates the site from Spain.

02

Browsing, hosting and security

When you request a page, Vercel's infrastructure may process technical data such as the IP address, date and time, the path requested, headers, browser, system and error logs. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose problems.

The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in publishing an available and secure site. Logs are kept for the technical periods set by the applicable configuration and plan, and only for as long as they are needed for security and troubleshooting.

Vercel acts as the infrastructure provider. International processing may take place under its data processing agreement and the applicable safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where relevant.

03

Minimal measurement with PostHog

When analytics is configured, Criterio Taller sends PostHog only the events we have explicitly defined, to measure page views, use of the selector, recommendations, navigation and clicks through to the products. No names, emails, free text or account identifiers are sent.

The setup uses PostHog Cloud EU, cookieless mode and in-memory storage, with no person profiles, no autocapture, no session recording, no surveys and no remote code loading. The URL and referrer are sent without query parameters. The connection's IP address may be processed transiently by the endpoint; in the project, IP capture is kept off and server-side cookieless mode is enabled.

The purpose is to understand, in aggregate, which content and paths help people choose a product. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in measuring and improving this site with a minimised configuration. Events are kept for the minimum period configured in PostHog, and the need for them is reviewed periodically.

PostHog acts as the analytics provider. The project stays in the EU region and is subject to the applicable data processing agreement.

04

Cookies and storage on your device

Criterio Taller does not use optional cookies and does not store analytics data in localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. The measurement described here works without writing or reading persistent identifiers on your device, which is why no consent banner is currently shown.

If any technology is added that accesses or stores information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, this policy and the consent mechanism will be reviewed before it is switched on.

05

Links to external products

When you open Gestión Taller on Google Play or visit MecánicOS, your browser connects to those services. Criterio Taller may add campaign parameters to the MecánicOS link identifying the page and the type of call to action, but they contain no personal data. From that point on, the destination service's own policies apply.

06

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability where they apply by writing to hola@criteriotaller.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Because there are no accounts and no persistent identifiers, it may not be possible to link a specific analytics event to a person without extra information; no more data will be requested than is needed to handle the request.
