Criterio Taller

01Need

The workshop has to carry on when the connection drops.

In short

Gestión Taller is the right option when working without internet is a hard requirement: it runs on the device itself, offline, on Android. PC access and syncing work inside the same WiFi network; they are not a way to open it from off site.

Who it's for

For small workshops and sole traders whose connection is unreliable, who work where coverage is poor, or who would rather keep the day-to-day on one Android device.

The real problem

If every booking, lookup or closing depends on the internet, one dropped connection can block the day. The real need isn't a technical label: it's being able to open customers, vehicles, jobs and documents when the outside line isn't there.

Our recommendation

Gestión Taller

Gestión Taller keeps the core of the work on the device itself. It can offer browser access on the same WiFi and syncing over the local network, but that does not let you get in from home or share the same records between sites.

Fit

Workshops that keep everything at the workshop and want something simple, whether one person or several.

Limit

It is not a cloud service or a remote multi-station system.

What you can keep running

  • 01Customers, vehicles and repairs
  • 02Job orders, quotes and invoices
  • 03Photos, signatures and document history
  • 04Backups and CSV import or export

When offline stops being the priority

If you need to get in from home, share one organisation between several users, or work from computer, phone and tablet in different places, MecánicOS answers better. It is web software and therefore depends on a connection.

Three common situations

01

Patchy coverage

Carrying on with bookings and repairs even when the internet fails.

02

A simple setup

Running the workshop from Android, without putting in a cloud system.

03

A PC in the workshop

Using web access when the devices share the workshop's WiFi.

Before you decide

01Does Gestión Taller work without internet?

Yes. Its main way of working is on the device itself and offline, on Android.

02Can I get in from home?

Not with its local web access. To open it from off site, the alternative is MecánicOS.

03Is the syncing done in the cloud?

No. Syncing works inside the workshop's own network; it is not cloud and it is not real time.
