Criterio Taller

01Trade

When a truck is taking up a bay, you need to know where the job stands.

In short

For a truck workshop, both can organise customers, vehicles, job orders and repairs. MecánicOS makes more sense when there are several mechanics, several stations or access from off site; Gestión Taller when the work happens at the workshop, simply, and has to carry on without internet.

Who it's for

For workshops repairing trucks that need priorities, paperwork and history in plain sight, without confusing workshop management with transport management.

The real problem

A repair can stretch out, need several visits, and share the floor with urgent work. Without a common reference it's easy to lose track of the status, the photos, the labour lines or the vehicle's earlier history.

What decides it

It depends on how you work, not on a feature list

What decides it is whether you need the same records at the same time and where you get in from. Sharing the work between several users favours MecánicOS; running the workshop from Android, at the workshop and independent of the connection, favours Gestión Taller.

What needs to stay under control

  • 01Job orders and the status of open work
  • 02Customers, vehicles and repair history
  • 03Photos, signatures and paperwork
  • 04Quotes, delivery notes or invoices depending on the product

If the workshop changes scale

A setup that starts at the workshop can move to MecánicOS when it needs to share the organisation, measure time or open it from off site. MecánicOS can import customers, vehicles and repairs from Gestión Taller.

Three common situations

01

Long jobs

Keeping the status and paperwork of work that runs over several days.

02

Priorities in sight

Telling urgent handovers apart from work waiting on parts or approval.

03

Several mechanics

Assigning and sharing jobs inside the same web organisation.

Before you decide

01Is this transport management software?

No. It covers the workshop, the repairs and their paperwork; it does not cover routes, fuel, drivers or GPS.

02Which one fits several mechanics?

If you need to work on the same records at the same time, MecánicOS: it has several users, roles and assigned mechanics, within the limits of its plans.

03Is there an offline option?

Yes. Gestión Taller runs on the device and without depending on the internet, mainly from Android.
